Do more. Give more.
be radical’s 1% pledge.

Our Commitment.

Here at be radical, we believe in practicing what we preach. In doing the work. In getting to the root. And, bringing as many people along with us as we can. We support several organizations with our voice, time, and money. Together these organizations form ‘radically.good.’

The way we see things – we have an obligation to support a positive future for everyone. We agree with Noam Chomsky when he said: “Unless you believe that the future can be better, you are unlikely to step up and take responsibility for making it so.”

be radical donates 1% of our total revenues (that is: all revenue before cost, taxes, etc) to the following organizations (each championed by one member of the team).

Please take a moment to read more about the ‘radically.good’ organizations, some of which we helped found – and who we continue to radically support. Give your help too. A radically different future is everyone’s future.

The Coaching Fellowship

The Coaching Fellowship (TCFS) helps women leaders change the world. The Coaching Fellowship gives high-potential young women leaders in the social impact space access to six months of leadership coaching designed to ignite their unique leadership potential. Our donors fund this transformative work, and our network of 150+ global executive coaches work one-on-one with our gifted fellows. In just a few months, we turn budding leaders into unstoppable changemakers. Leadership is just as important to social impact success as operations, funding, or innovation. By helping these young women develop their unique leadership style and potential, they will build smart organizations that execute, inspire and scale.

MANA Nutrition

Every 10 seconds, a child dies of severe acute malnutrition (SAM). Three servings of MANA RUFT a day for six weeks can save the life of a starving child. RUTF stands for Ready-To-Use Therapeutic Food. It's a medicine that treats children suffering from Severe Acute Malnutrition. Its ingredients are simple – peanut butter, milk and multivitamins! MANA Nutrition is an RUTF producer that makes this medicine and sends it all over the world to children in need through partners like UNICEF, USAID and World Vision. At its current production level, MANA can produce up to 121,000 pounds per day, which is enough to feed 4,000 children suffering from SAM for six weeks. It’s enough to fill four shipping containers of RUTF every day.

Eden Reforestation Projects

Deforestation is a global phenomenon caused by a variety of factors. These factors range from large-scale slash and burn practices, to unsustainable agriculture, to daily community forest destruction. Eden Reforestation Projects starts by hiring the local villagers to plant trees. This gives them a decent income so they can provide for their families again. As the reforestation effort goes on, healthy forests begin to emerge and all the negative effects of deforestation begin to disappear. By the year 2025 Eden Reforestation Projects’ objective is to plant a minimum of 500 million trees each year and to offer hope through the employment of tens of thousands of people in countries where extreme poverty is rampant.

Sheltersuit

Sheltersuit is designing and manufacturing emergency disaster relief products. Their products help people who experience a lack of resources, refugees, and people experiencing homelessness with immediate shelter. In doing so, they have already protected 10,000+ people and counting! In partnership with local NGOs, they are looking for the true needs of specific communities and are providing complementary services and distribute their products to the people that need them the most. In doing so, they have used 21,000kg of upcycled materials as their products are created from a surplus of fabrics from the textile industry. Furthermore, in providing and distributing those products, they have created 112 jobs for people with a distance to the labor market.

Stripe Climate

To prevent the most catastrophic effects of climate change, we should aim to limit global average temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels, which corresponds to reducing global annual CO₂ emissions from about 40 gigatons per year as of 2018, to net zero by 2050. To accomplish this, the world will likely need to both radically reduce the new emissions we put into the air, and remove carbon already in the atmosphere. Stripe Climate invests into a growing group of ambitious businesses changing the course of carbon removal.
